The Inspiration for Treats for Good Dogs
For 14 years, I cooked real food every single day for my dog, Salem. He wasn't just a pet, he was my family, my shadow, and my reason for learning how to make food that actually nourished him. Preparing his meals by hand became a ritual of love, something that grounded me and reminded me what loyalty really looks like.
When Salem passed, I kept thinking about everything those years of cooking taught me: that our dogs need real ingredients, real nutrition, and the same kind of care we put into food for the people we love. I realized I didn't want that chapter to end with him.
That's why I started Treats for Good Dogs to honor Salem by continuing what he inspired. Every treat is made in small batches with simple, wholesome ingredients, baked the same way I cooked for him. This isn't just a business. It's a tribute to the dog who changed my life and a way to help other families give their dogs the same love.
